1. HOW DO I OPEN AN ACCOUNT? We sell wholesale only to the trade. To open an account, you must be a dealer and provide the following information:

  • Your name, complete address, phone number, and email address.
  • A copy of your current Business License and Resale Tax ID.
  • Trade references.

2. WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT? We accept payment for your order by check, credit card, money order, or wire transfer. Custom orders must be paid in advance.

3. WHAT DIFFERENT PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER? Our range of products includes fabric by the yard, ready made drapes, bedding, and pillows. Fabric can be purchased as cut yardage or half/full piece. These orders are typically shipped within two business days of receiving your order.We stock 96″ and 108″ ready made drapery panels in our warehouse. Our local workroom can shorten panels to a specific length with a typical turnaround time of 10-14 days. (Lengths longer than 108″ are custom made.) We also offer made to order custom drapes and fabric, with a lead time of four to six weeks. For commercial and contract business, we offer double-width goods (118”). In addition, we have the ability to treat our fabrics for FR 701 that meets standards for hotels and commercial projects. We also supply backed fabrics for upholstery. 4. WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW WHEN PLACING AN ORDER? We require all orders in writing, either by fax to 770-449-1546, or by email to info@creativethreadsusa.com. Be sure your order includes the desired design pattern, color, size and quantity.There is no minimum quantity required to be ordered for drapes in our stocking program. All fabrics represented through our drapery stock program are also offered as cut yardage. Price for cut yardage and a half piece (30 yards) are different.

5. HOW ARE ORDERS SHIPPED? Unless specified otherwise, we ship UPS Ground for all orders within the contiguous 48 states. If you have a preferred courier, or would like us to bill collect to your UPS/FedEx account, please include your account number with your order.

6. WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY? We do not accept returns on special orders that are manufactured on a “made to order” basis, nor do we accept returns on cut yardage. However, we do accept returns within 30 days on drapes, pillows, and bedding sold through our stocking program. There is no restocking fee for items returned unopened in their original packaging. You will only be liable for freight charges both ways. For returns on opened packages, provided that the condition of goods is not compromised, there is a $15 per item restocking fee.We take pride in our quality, and for any goods that are defective or below industry standards, we take back returns at no cost to you for replacement. Please inspect your shipment upon receipt – we do not accept any returns after 30 days.

7. HOW QUICKLY WILL MY ORDER SHIP? All in-stock orders are processed and generally shipped within two business days of receiving your order. Custom orders are typically shipped within four to six weeks of receiving your order. However, it is best to reconfirm time frame for a special order prior to placing it.

8. WHAT DIFFERENT CONSTRUCTIONS OF DRAPES DO YOU OFFER? All our silk drapes are lined, inner lined and have weighted hems. We feel it is important to do so to maintain life and feel of the fabric. All our other drapes – except sheers – are lined. We use high quality cotton sateen fabric for all lined drapes. Drapes that are part of our stocking program have a 4” rod pocket, a 2” header, and back tabs. As a standard, all stocked drapes are offered in 96” and 108” lengths. However, drapes can be made to any length or construction with a four to six week delivery time. We can shorten drapes to a specific length in our local workroom. As with regular orders, please fax or email your request for quote on custom panels via fax or email.Our factory can make to order custom widths and headers, including various pleats and grommets. Creative Threads is unique in that multiple width panels are first joined and then embroidered across the full width of the finished panel. This process ensures there is no possibility of problems with gaps or pattern matching in embroidery, no matter how wide your finished panel might be.

9. CAN I GET SAMPLES? We do not provide samples or cuttings for approval. A computer screen cannot do justice to the colors and quality of our fabric and embroidery threads. We strongly recommend that you purchase our full set of swatch books showing each of our designs in all available color ways so you and your clients can see and feel the fabrics to aid in your design projects. Each design program has its own strength, but complements its design program predecessors, which is why we recommend purchasing the entire set.

10. CAN I REORDER A DISCONTINUED DESIGN? We technically do not ever “discontinue” an embroidery design. The fabrics and designs on our price list are those active as part of our current stocking program. If we no longer have inventory of a particular design in our warehouse, we will gladly custom produce fabric or panels in a previously offered design with a minimum order of eight drapery panels or 30 yards of fabric. You can expect delivery within four to six weeks of placing your order.
